The waterfall was amazing and the guide very knowledgeable about the area. The whole trip was an enjoyable and comfortable trip.
Breathtaking Hike

We loved our hike with our guide. He did a great job of stopping to teach us about the wildlife. The waterfall itself was absolutely breathtaking. I’ve never seen such raw beauty. My legs are still sore from the hundreds of steps up from the waterfall. Wouldn’t recommend the hike to anyone with orthopedic issues.
Highly recommend - great way to experience Costa Rica's natural beauty

This was a really enjoyable tour and our guide, Hector, was extremely knowledgeable giving us a lot of interesting facts about the places we visited and Costa Rica in general. The hike through the rainforest wasn't particularly challenging so anyone with moderate fitness level and good mobility shoudn't have any problem (and you can always pause for a breather on the way back up the steps from the base of the beautiful waterfall!) The visit to the sloth farm and the lunch was also great!

If you want to be overwhelmed with beautiful views all day, this is for you. Also got to see some pretty cool wildlife. Tour guides were informative and fun. Lunch was delicious and at the most beautiful restaurant!
Amazing visit to Guanacaste, Costa Rica
mariaandpablom, 12-09-2022
My husband and I had a six day trip to Guanacaste. Flew into and out of Liberia. Despite this been rainy season we barely saw rain and it was not disruptive of our day activities. We stayed at the W Reserva Conchal, we felt it was ideal for what we wanted and had planned. A couple of days of tours, the rest were for relaxing and resting at the resort pool and beach. W Reserva Conchal is not a budget property but worth every penny. The staff made it ten times more special. The grounds, food, drinks and spa were amazing. Our room was super spacious, loved the floor to ceiling glass shower walls. (They do have privacy screens) But it felt like taking a shower out in nature. You get to see animals around the property. All sorts of birds, armadillo, iguanas, south american coati, you name it. We arranged private tours with a guide we found through a facebook group. "Dee", Didier arranged for us to have a catamaran sunset tour at the Panache, it was such a lovely and fun way to start our stay. The next day Dee picked us up early, drove us to Rio Celeste at Volcan Tenorio, a Cacao Farm and Sloth Sanctuary tour. He went above and beyond for us to have a good time. We learned so much from him about the country and their people. Check him out at deescostaricatours.com. Highly recommend him!
