Marvelous Marvin!!

I highly recommend using a guide for touring the Cloud Forest and Curi-Canancha. It would be extremely difficult to spot things on your own. Marvin was so accommodating and super knowledgeable. He was very kind, great English, so helpful. Request Marvin!
Nature and fun!

Roy proved to be extremely knowledgeable and friendly…he did his best to realize our expectations and worked hard until the very last minute to show us a male Quetzal….and he made it! All the family enjoyed the tour so much! We also had a night tour with his brother Marvin and was really good too…we had waited the whole vacation to finally see that sloth so close!

This tour was exceptional! Roy, born and raised in Monteverde, is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. Without him, we would not have seen a quarter of what we did in the preserve and were so grateful to learn so many interesting facts from him along they way. We highly recommend Roy!
Great tour

Bird watcher's dream!

Roy was such a great guide! He was able to spot all the birds hidden in the trees, identify their nests and recognise all their calls. We would not have seen all the birds we saw had it not been for him. Though great to have, a zoom lens isn't essential for this trip since Roy's telescope is great for capturing pictures even with just your phone! We enjoyed our tour so much, we booked again with Roy the next day for his cloud forest tour. This is a must see for anyone in Monteverde, bird lover or not! We also saw a pit viper, a tarantula, loads of ficus trees and a family of coatis, so its not just birds that you'll see on this tour.
