This is a unique and exclusive adventure, it only can be done with us. Visit a 90ft waterfall, a blue water river for cliffjumping and swiming, a 1200ft waterslide, do a volcanic mud body paint in the tropical dry forest on the base of an active volcano, enjoy the hotsprings and the wetbar at the end.

What To Expect

Cataratas Llanos de Cortes

We will drive to the first spot, llanos del Cortez waterfalls where after a 20minutes hike trough the tropical dry forest next to the river we will reach a hidden big water bowl where you will be able to swim and cliffjump, the we will hike to the top of the Waterfalls view point to take pictures, then we will go to the base of the Waterfalls where you can swim and take pictures.

After 30 minute drive we will reach our next spot where we will have lunch picnic style next to the river, and then we will go swimming and cliff jumping in the Canyons of blue water river.

After spending one hour at the place we will drive 20 minutes to our next place where we will do a 1200 ft water slide down the jungle after that, in the same place we will go to do volcanic mud paint Hot Springs for 2 hours

Outstanding Tour by Sweet Costa Rica

We are so glad that we booked this private tour through Viator. Sebastian, the owner of Sweet Costa Rica and our driver and guide, did an amazing job of putting together this tour. First off, he is incredibly responsive, friendly, and tailored the length of the excursion to our schedule. One of the main things we appreciated about this tour is that it was handled through a local Costa Rican company (Sweet Costa Rica) which permitted us to contribute to several local businesses and restaurant. It was an adventurous tour which included cliff diving, hiking through the dry forest in Rincon de la Vieja National Park, and swim to the gorgeous Oropendola Waterfall. We capped of our adventure with an exhilarating ride down a waterslide in the beautiful Vandara park. What a tremendous and unique experience.! Sebastian is an outstanding tour guide and individual who took us to all of these great parts of Costa Rica. We would not hesitate to schedule another tour with him when we return to Costa Rica. We were so pleased that we booked him for transport from our Hotel to the Airport. 5 star review across the board!!! Pura Vida.

Tour of a lifetime

A group of 4 friends did the signature adventure with Sebastian and it was a tour of a lifetime! He picked us up in Tamarindo, had a nice breakfast and drove a ways into the rainforest for cliff jumping, hiking, secret waterfalls, cartoon blue rivers, a crazy water slide and a tropical hot spring/mud bath/massage spot to finish it off ((also a nice local lunch). Sebastian is awesome and you could never do a day like this without a local guide. And for the price very fair as welll for a private tour. 10/10 recommend.

Chasing waterfalls

Pura Vida! Unbelievable experience and a great way to add a little adventure to your trip! They’re are no better guides than Sebastian and Allison as they shared tons about the culture and land. They planned a delicious meal at a local restaurant where they surprised us with a cake and candles to celebrate two of my friends! The water was a bit rougher than normal the day we went but the view of the waterfall is totally worth the hike. We have to give a special shout out to Alan who assisted us on the hike to Le Leona. He kept us safe and was fun! You then head over to a water slide then off to the hot springs which really is the perfect way to end the day!

We also received our adventure video within 24 hrs of returning home!

What an adventure!

What an adventure! Ericka was our tour guide throughout the day and was fabulous! She made the day so special for our group of 6.

Everything was super... started by jumping off the cliff and into the refreshing water. Next, we had to change our plans due to llanos del Cortez waterfalls being closed, we went to La Leona Waterfall along the Rio Blanco. During this part of our tour, Juan joined the tour as our guide to the Waterfalls and was super patient and an expert guide. The change to this waterfall was even more challenging and adventurous than our group planned for, but was such a memorable experience and we are so glad we did it!

Finally, we had a delicious traditional lunch and then went to enjoy the hot sprains, mud bath, and waterslide. Such an amazing end to the trip!

We did a private waterfall, cliff jumping, Jungle water slide and hot springs excursion with Sebastian! Sebastian was fun, energetic, helpful and we learned a lot about Costa Rica!
