Overview

This is an authentic experience that you must do during your stay in La Fortuna! Here we are not only adventurers, we are tradition, culture and ancestral knowledge. Come and learn something that lasts over time: the milking activity and the elaboration of the handmade tortilla.

This experience will take place on our farm run by a local family. We treat animals with love and we do this traditional activity using our hands and not machines. You will have the opportunity to milk the cow yourself and learn all about this process. Animal lover? So come and play with the calves ♥

Afterwards, we will move to our wood stove to prepare the tortillas in the typical way: some dough, water and let's get to work!

Enjoy it like a Tico, drinking a hot coffee or an "aguadulce" with the milk you just milked, and also enjoying a delicious freshly made tortilla with "natilla" sour cream and cheese.
