With over 850 species of birds Costa Rica is a great place for birding. The tour takes place on local private reserves, which are located on near distances from most of hotels. With your experienced naturalist guide, you will be able to view some of the following eye-catching species; The Cattle Egret, Crested Caracara, Laughing Flacon and the Squirrel Cuckoo just to mention a few. Our experiences guides carry binoculars and field handbooks and to help you understand and learn about these magnificent birds. Witnessing these spectacular birds is optimized in the early morning or as the day cools into the evening when they are most active.
