Overview

This tour starts with a visit to the Arenal Hanging Bridges for a 3 km hike. Afterwards we will go to the La Fortuna Waterfall where you can swim in an inviting pool at the base of the waterfall, following that enjoy a typical lunch in La Fortuna and for the last part of de tour we will visit an organic cocoa plantation where you'll see the cocoa trees. We are also going to experience the process of grinding and roasting cocoa beans, finally you will make your own chocolate bonbons.. Our goal is to create authentic travel experiences that value the traditional culture and ways of living in our country and that contribute to the sustainability of our natural and social environment.

What To Expect

La Fortuna de San Carlos
This tour starts with a visit to Biological Reserve that develops conservation programs, training environmental education, sustainable use of the land we will have a nature walk through secondary forest where you can see in its natural habitat a wide variety of plants and animals, butterflies, iguanas, basilisks, two and three toed Sloths, the poisonous red frog, the red-eyed tree frog and many different birds. Afterwards we will go to La Fortuna Waterfall where you can swim in an inviting pool at the base of the mountain, followed we will enjoy a delicious typical lunch. In the afternoon we will hike in the Arenal Volcano rainforest which includes a walk to the lava view point.
