What To Expect

Lake Arenal

You will enjoy the coasts surrounded by lush vegetation and fauna and the surround landscapes of blue mountains, volcanoes, and islands. Along the way, your guide will share interesting information about the history of the lake, the volcano, and the surrounding tourist development.
Lake Arenal is a lake which is situated in the northern highlands of Costa Rica. It is currently the largest lake in Costa Rica at 85-square-kilometre. Its depth varies between 30 and 60 meters seasonally. The town of Arenal was relocated to higher ground when the lake was expanded in 1979.

You can also hear or maybe even see howler monkeys, spider monkeys, or capuchin monkeys, as well as many other species.
