Other than birds, monkeys enjoy to climb and eat leaves and fruits from the trees along the river. The respected crocodiles and huge iguanas sit on rocks to warm up their bodies under the sun. The tour ends with a delicious typical Costa Rican meal.

We had a knowledgeable driver/guide who knows the history of Costa Rica, the wildlife on the river and shared a lot about the culture. We had a great pilot on the boat and got us close to the birds, crocs and monkeys. The traditional lunch at the ranch was extra special and very tasty.
