Our Day Pass gives access to both the mile-long thermal river and the mineral pools that surround the main building. Each of the pools has its own personality with different temperatures and mineral properties to suit your taste. Different areas of the pools have therapeutic water jets. You too can have fun in our volcanic mud that is popular with our guests. Pamper your body with an extraordinary way to relax and re-energize.

Our extensive trail system gives you the opportunity to explore the iconic blessing of Mother Nature throughout the Rio Perdido property. The trails and our bridges lead you to magnificent panoramic views. The vitality and beauty of our surroundings will welcome you in every corner.

The level of difficulty of your exploration depends on your comfort zone. Take it easy and challenge yourself.

What To Expect

Rio Perdido has three thermal mineral swimming pools: hot, warm, and cool. The Rio Perdido thermal river is the focal point of the nature reserve. The river is heated by the surrounding Miravalles Volcano lowlands. The rich minerals and energy present in the soil have created dozens of natural springs of varying temperatures in which travelers can relax and enjoy. In addition to the thermal river, there are more than 10 miles of hiking trails and several hanging bridges throughout the reserve. Bikes are available for rent to discover the 12-mile network of bike trails on-site.
