Overview

Experience begins in La Fortuna, then we drive for 25 minutes until we get to our starting point in La Perla town. Once arrived, you’ll be able to use the restroom and receive the security instructions while getting prepared for this exciting experience on the Peñas Blancas river where you get to float down its quiet waters while sight seeing various animals.

Then we travel to La Fortuna waterfall which emerges from dense jungle greenery before plummeting some 200 feet (65 mts) into an emerald pool below. Those that have brought along swimming suits and a hearty sense of adventure can swim in the chilly water below the fall. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious Costa Rican lunch.

We continue to an unforgettable hiking experience through trails marked with the remains of previous lava flows of the impressive and majestic Arenal Volcano.

To end the day in a perfect relaxing way, soak into Ecotermales hot springs.
